During the Covid-19 Pandemic, Nimisha worked with The Prince’s Trust and Gone West to on a fundraising campaign to rescue 500,000 oak tree saplings due to be destroyed. All 500,000 trees were saved in the end. Nimisha was able to personally save X trees through a number of events including the Social Action For Climate Change Summit.

“Everyone deserves the chance to make a living, preferably on a living planet. This campaign gives young people the chance to have both in a growing industry. Acorns to Oaks provides the tools and motivation young people need to make a difference, right now”.

A week long summit for Entrepreneurs, Activists and Social Change-Makers working towards a more Sustainable Future.

In Honour of the Mayor London’s “Climate Action Week“ 2020, Nimisha organised and hosted “Social Action for Climate Change”, a week long summit showcasing disruptive businesses, activists and social change-makers paving the way for a sustainable future. Reflecting on 2020, the summit focused on the positive action being taken by businesses and individuals looking to deliver on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

The event showcased real businesses and activists taking action and developing solutions to make a difference. The Social Action for Climate Change 2021 summit is due to take place later this year.
